When you use Bodaline, we may collect:

• • Account info: your name, email address, and profile photo from Google Sign-In
• • Rider profile data: rider names, phone numbers, photos, stage locations, and bios submitted by users
• • Location data: your approximate GPS location (only when you grant permission) to show nearby riders
• • Usage data: pages visited, actions taken, and device type — used to improve the service

How We Use Your Information

• • To connect passengers with nearby boda boda riders
• • To display and manage rider profiles on the platform
• • To count calls and profile views for analytics shown to profile owners
• • To improve the accuracy and performance of the service
• • To contact you about important updates (we do not send marketing emails)

Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Rider profile information (name, phone, stage, photo) is publicly visible to all Bodaline users by design — this is the core function of the service. We do not share your data with third-party advertisers.

We use Cloudflare for image hosting. Photos you upload are stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure and subject to their privacy policy.

Data Retention

Rider profiles remain on the platform until deleted by the profile owner or upon request to us. Account data is retained while your account is active. You may request deletion at any time by emailing us.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data and any rider profiles you have created. To exercise these rights, email us at [email protected]. We will respond within 14 days.

Security

We use HTTPS for all data in transit and store session data securely. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. Use the service at your own risk.

Children

Bodaline is not intended for use by anyone under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via the app. Continued use after changes are published means you accept the updated policy.
